I Support Equity, Intersectional Hiring...

 ...if done by the government.

The more people hired in government not based on ability but rather extraneous factors such as, gender, race, mental sexual identity disorder. etc., the better.

We need incompetent government, not a government filled with skilled people.

Here is a great new ad, from this perspective, issued by the CIA:

Intersectionals in the CIA now!

  1. And when she uses her state power to prosecute trans-phobia in the citizenry? Barbarism requires no skill, just threats and violence.

  2. I wasn't aware that government had ever hired based on ability. That's a new one on me lol

    1. Too late, it's all downhill from now on. Like any addict, recovery only beings after hitting rock bottom. Early days.

  4. Robert, we want the incompetent, not crazed, skilled ideologues.

  5. Going to play devil's advocate.

These pushes for equity in the government workforce can spillover into regulatory rulemaking, which I think would not be desirable. At the very least, it's affecting national priorities.

  6. Memo to CIA agent Miia: You cannot rationally state that you are unapologetic for being yourself and also claim you are tired of apologizing for being who you are. If that confuses you, I apologize.

    1. you can't have intersectionality without circular logic!

Institutions that require attracting customers in a free or freeish market eventually destroy themselves as the institutional game players take over and then only hire their own kind. Government keeps going and even thrives on it regardless unless some other government invades, the smaller units break away, or there is overthrown. Yes hiring like this makes those more likely but will it make us better off?

There is only a slim possibility of government institutional collapse from one of those three causes somehow happening without an economic collapse leaves us better off and I think Slim left the building.
