Weekend Netflix Recommendation

Some of the best works coming out of internet movie streaming channels are documentaries.

I spend more time poking around them than new movie releases.

One particularly well-done documentary is "Room 2806: The Accusation" now appearing on Netflix.

It tells the story of the 2011 sexual assault charges against Dominique Strauss Kahn by a maid at the Sofitel Hotel in New York City.

There is not a particular libertarian message here but the documentary does provide a glimpse of the power DSK did wield before his arrest. He was head of the International Monetary Fund and a strong candidate to be the next president of France at the time,

The documentary is also something of a mystery story. Was the maid telling the truth?

Two friends watched the film on my recommendation and they came up with opposite opinions as to whether she was lying.

Here is the trailer:

It is a husband-wife, boy friend-girl friend type watchable documentary, both will find the documentary captivating but probably for different reasons.
