Police Tear Down BLM Encampment in Washington D.C.

Washington D.C. police on Tuesday tore down the Black Lives Matter encampment that was beginning to emerge near the White House as the Black House Autonomous Zone (BHAZ).

D.C. Police Chief Peter Newsham said in an interview that police would not let protesters set up an encampment in the area but would not impede peaceful protests. City officials said it was a hazard to allow tents to be pitched on open roads.

The protesters moved on to  lay down on I-395 for eight minutes and 46 seconds — symbolically marking the length of time that a police officer in Minneapolis knelt on George Floyd’s neck

  1. It's a damn shame that these looters and vandals could not have been shot dead on site. Of course, I'm to some here that they are simply 'natural libertarians'. Maybe someone should have dropped some Mises or Hayek books.

  2. Shouldn't this Leftist rabble be "tearing down" the DNC, considering its 190-year history of racism and exploitation of blacks---?
