DeBlasio Threatens Jews Who Gather in Large Groups

And an East Coast power freak emerges to try become a bigger louse than California Governor Gavin Newsom.

In a vicious tweet, New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio singled out Jewish groups and threatened them with arrests if they gather in large groups.
Yeah, he is going to "stop" the disease.

He has no idea what he is talking about.

You can't "stop" the disease outside of herd immunity.

It just got worse.

The attack by DeBlasio came in response to hundreds of Orthodox Jews who gathered Tuesday night in the streets near Rutledge Street and Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg to pay their respects for the rabbi, identified by The Yeshiva World as Chaim Mertz.

“Something absolutely unacceptable happened in Williamsburg tonite: a large funeral gathering in the middle of this pandemic,” de Blasio wrote in a second tweet.

“When I heard, I went there myself to ensure the crowd was dispersed. And what I saw WILL NOT be tolerated so long as we are fighting the Coronavirus,” he said.

  1. People have got to stop listening to these power freak thugs. Resist them. Like Cuomo said, we can’t force everyone to do what we say(paraphrased), they rely on obedience. There are over 300 million Americans, vs what, several thousand power freaks? Who wins that? We don’t even have to fight, they just don’t have the resources to stop everyone.

  2. If you arrest a large, assembled group and put them in jail, how does that "stop the disease"? Aren't you just moving this large group to a new location?

(I leave aside the small matter that these people chose to assemble and assume whatever risks they might be taking.)

  3. I guess they pull out the 'holohoax' and anti-Semite card.

  4. have you see Louis Rossmann's latest bike ride video? The cops are completely ineffectual. These Jews have a enough of a mass in one area that the cops can't do anything about it.

  5. The photos that I have now seen of the crowd show that most of them were wearing masks. If the masks do not work, then why do the dictators require folks to wear them; if the masks do work, then why does this crowd need to "social distance"?

de Blasio's anger is just all about power, not logic or safety: "You didn't obey me, so you're bad."
