CLAIM: New Attorney General Pushes Out Top Mueller Lieutenant Weissman

WOW! Pitbull Andrew Weissmann is leaving the Mueller team, after being pushed out yesterday by Attorney General William Barr, according to OANN reporter Jack Posobiec.

Listen to this:

From National Public Radio:
One of the most prominent members of special counsel Robert Mueller's team investigating Russia's attack on the 2016 presidential election will soon leave the office and the Justice Department, two sources close to the matter tell NPR.
Andrew Weissmann, the architect of the case against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, will study and teach at New York University and work on a variety of public service projects, including his longstanding interest in preventing wrongful convictions by shoring up forensic science standards used in courts, the sources added.

The New York Times take:
One of the key prosecutors in the special counsel’s investigation into Russian election interference is leaving the team soon, the Justice Department said Thursday, in another signal that the inquiry is winding down.
The prosecutor, Andrew Weissmann, who helped lead the cases against the former Trump campaign officials Paul Manafort and Rick Gates, “will be concluding his detail to the special counsel’s office in the near future,” said Peter Carr, the special counsel’s spokesman.

  1. It is beyond me why the entire Mueller team are not in cuffs doing the perp walk into some federal court house. The Swamp definitely protect their own.
