Nike Sales Surge

By Robert Wenzel

While Trump-supporting whites in suburbia are burning their Nike shoes, sales are soaring for the firm.

According to Fortune, a new report from Edison Trends says Nike’s online sales grew 31% from Sunday through Tuesday of Labor Day weekend this year following release of the news that knee bender Colin Kaepernick will head its current "Just do it" campaign.

“There was speculation that the Nike/Kaepernick campaign would lead to a drop in sales but the data
does not support that theory,” Edison said in a statement.

Like I said:
Nike understands its market all too well. It is the unthinking masses who justifiably feel oppressed. And Nike's message to them is essentially: "We understand. Fight the man and just do it in any way possible. And do it in our athletic shoes." It is aimed at, among others, real thugs and pretend thugs.
Nike is simply an opportunistic organization that knows how to profit off of the damaged human beings created by government regulation.

  1. Economics 101

Who is more likely to not only buy Nike shoes but will be existing customers for
the next 30 years- Millennials or ageing Generation X([people born between the late 60s and early 80s) Trumpsters

  2. I'm too poor of a white to afford some overpriced Nikes anyway. I have to work to pay taxes so more of their 'oppressed' buyers can breed more stupid people and trade off their EBT for some cash to buy Nike garbage.

  3. The sentiment buying by the leftists will go back to the trickle soon. The bad feelings Nike raised in bigger part of their market will persist for a long time.

I think that any corporate exec which starts dabbling in political signaling must be kicked out by the shareholders and the board for being an obviously clueless idiot.

As is, Nike made a decisive move from targeting broad middle class to becoming a ghetto brand.

    A propos:

    1. Doesn’t seem to be hurting Chik Fil A

    2. Qualitative difference in the supporter there, right?

  4. It is hysterical how the Left act like they are still the Counter Culture even though they have ruled our major cultural institutions for a generation. At this point the Left are The System, The Establishment, The Man, if you will. And I say it's time we Stick It To The Man.
