Trump Says He is Likely to Support Ending Federal Ban on Marijuana

President Trump said he likely will support a congressional effort to end the federal ban on marijuana.

He is probably just trying to aggravate Sessions. (I wonder inspired that positionning.)

Notes the Los Angeles Times:
Trump’s remarks put him sharply at odds with Atty. Gen. Jeff Sessions on the issue. The bill in question, pushed by a bipartisan coalition, would allow states to go forward with legalization unencumbered by threats of federal prosecution.

  1. WOW!

    Somewhere Walter Block is smiling.

  2. So wait... if Trump order Sessions not to enforce federal marijuana prohibitions, will Mueller investigate Trump for obstruction of justice? Could there be a Russian connection? Everybody high in 2018 or 2020 so they vote like crazy, man?

  3. The public is going to applaud this. Trump 2020 on the way… wait til you see what he does when he realizes the public wants this.

  4. Perhaps Trump had a lucent moment driven by his life long desire for one-upmanship. Thanks Sessions.

  5. I drive into Seattle at least once a week for work. If the wind is blowing in, you can smell the dank from miles away.

  6. Non aggression therefore marijuana. Libertarianism in a nutshell.

    1. It’s OK Paul. This would keep some white people out of prison, too.

  7. Another win for Libertarians for Trump.
