BREAKING: Israeli Warplanes Launch Missile Attack on Syrian Army Unit

This is a developing story return to this post for updates.

Via multiple Middle East news media sources:
The Israeli air force has launched a missile attack on Syrian army positions in the province of Quneitra bordering Israeli-controlled Golan Heights.

  1. obviously they want anyone around them to be destabilized.

    1. I don't find that to be logical. Would the US government or the US people want Canada or Mexico to be destabilized. I personally would be happy if Mexico would a couple of levels more stable than it is. I live in Arizona. I don't want California or New Mexico to be destabilized.

I don't think the Israeli government believes it can or wants to sell more Israeli armaments to Syria or Syrian rebels if the Assad government fails.

I find this occurrence to be just one more puzzle.

    2. Anti-Assad US intervention is on their behalf to begin with, and to supporters of Israel, instability justifies more of it. The larger goal is likely a US dependent regime ruling Syria, as there has long been in Egypt and Jordan.

  2. IIRC, the reason Israel attacked the USS Liberty had something to do with the golan heights.
