JFK vs. Trump on the Press

The Trump administration recently held a press briefing and excluded CNN, The New York Times and other news organizations hostile to the administration.

Here is John F. Kennedy during a press conference answering a question from Sander Vanocur, on the abrasive press:

(via West Wing Reports)

  1. In the time of Kennedy, the 'press' wasn't the corporate owned ministry of propaganda for deranged globalist central planners.

  2. In JFK's time, the press was well in the Democrat fold and hid JFK's problematic health and extramarital social life.

  3. I wonder if Mr. Vanocur ever leaked debate questions to Nixon and then tried to maintain a stance that he was just a journalist?
