SMOKING GUN So You Don't Think They Are Trying to Dumb Us Down and Make Us Compliant?

From the Wikilealks Podesta email dump:

Bill Ivey, the Bill Clinton appointed chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts (1998-2001) emails Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta (highlight added):

  1. Common core math is the exact same thing as New Math from the sixties. New math was found to cause math scores to go down across the country and was quickly yanked after a couple of years. This common core math is that math curriculum. How do I know. I was in the group of children that started school with New Math. Later I took a minor in elementary mathematics to address what had happened to me and sort out the things I needed to eliminate and do differently to elevate my math skill deficiencies. I knew a lot about what happened concerning New math because my parents were concerned about it at the time and put me in a private school advertising that they were not using New Math which much discussion was being had at the time. Fortunately for all, New Math was yanked and completely thrown out in public schools as well. I am smart and could do it but the process is laborious and keeps people from seeing clearly how numbers work and from being able to do math swiftly and quickly. Many can't handle the excessive steps and keeping track of them while doing complex math problems. This laborious process can equal to as many as a hundred extra steps. It is obvious they want people that can't quickly realize the bad deals we are getting in contracts from employers and banks etc. Not to mention, the tricks "they" use with statistics and polls.etc. It is imperative that people in positions to address this do so and fast.

  2. it's like the closing scenes from the Wizard of Oz, the curtain gets pulled back on my beloved benevolent democracy and it's perps are being exposed and unmasked ..make it stop please! I can't takes no more

  3. RW, I don't think you are reading the tone of this entirely correctly. The first highlighted "We" I take as a large collective group including those outside of government. And the way he uses "conspire" is sort of tongue-in-cheek. I think this is a sad display from a wanna-be population controller at most.

    1. Or maybe you aren't getting my tone.

    2. Probably... Wouldn't be the first time I demonstrated tone deafness. This is on snopes too:

    3. Actually Robert Wenzel is playing the seriousness of this down if anything; these people want absolute control of a citizenry that owns no property, owns no mode of transportation, and is prescribed a strict diet of totalitarian dogma to chew on. The vision of the future that they wish to shove down our throats is one of ever diminishing horizons where people dutifully shuffle through the chute to oblivion with virtual reality blinders on.

Have you ever heard of Agenda 21, or been curious enough to look at Agenda 21 maps of America?

    4. I've heard of agenda 21. I didn't know ivey was connected to that and the conspiracy to dumb down the citizenry. My bad I guess.

  4. Snopes is hardly a reliable source. I used to go to it to verify things and recently have seen cases where it basically denies truths to support the status quo or establishment.

    1. In this case, it was Ivey adding a clarification. Snipes simply published that clarification. Written language can be a less than ideal way to covey one's intentions sometimes.
