Charges are expected to be filed this morning in connection with the Bridgegate corruption scandal that has jeopardized New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s political career, reports NyPo.
The US Attorney’s office has not said who will be charged, NJ.com reported, but ABC News is reporting that David Wildstein, a former Port Authority executive and one-time political blogger, will plead guilty.
A press conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. after “a proceeding of interest in a criminal matter” related to the probe, NJ.com reported.
