Bernie Sanders 'is considering another run for the presidency'

The socialist-leaning Bernie Sanders may again run for president in 2020.

“He is considering another run for the presidency,” Jeff Weaver said in an interview with C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal” on Tuesday when asked whether Sanders’ supporters would get to vote for him in 2020. “And when the time comes I think we’ll have an answer to that but right now he’s still considering it.”

Sanders will turn 79 in 2020, which would make him the oldest U.S. president ever elected. (President Trump, who turns 72 next month, currently holds the record.)

  1. I'm hoping the Democrats put Sheila Jackson Lee and Maxine Waters on the ticket in 2020. Maybe have the cowboy hat wearing broad be speaker of the house.

  2. At his age his Presidency might turn into a real life "Weekend at Bernie's".
