Libertarian Party Candidate Strike Three: A Disappointing McAfee

The Global Observer emails following my interview with John McAfee:
You did a great job with the interview, Bob, but I have to say McAfee was really disappointing. I really want to like him simply because he seems fearless. I have overlooked some of the red flags going up in my mind about him. But your interview really drove home how ill-prepared he is for public office. Sadly he also seems pretty clueless -- never reads? Has never heard of Rothbard or Mises? It really seems like something is wrong with him or that he is not taking any of this seriously.
Thanks for putting forth such a great effort on the interview, however. No way could I support any of the top three LP candidates.

  2. Thanks RW!
I was pleasantly surprised. You don't need to know Rothbard to know taxation is theft. He understands NAP so I could support him knowing that he doesn't aspire to rule another man just spread awareness to non-libertarians.

  3. On the plus side, he's probably never heard of Keynes, Samuelson, or Picketty either.

  4. His responses were especially weird considering his "Vote Different" ad on his www.bealibertarian.com website has imagery with Ron Paul, Rand Paul, Rothbard (I think), and Jeff Tucker, among others. In another one of his videos, he is standing in a library with hundreds of books, but he also snorts cocaine in that video, so take it for what it is. Regardless, I would rather have him as president than any of the other tyrants.
